An independent bench for Viking kitchens.
One trade, one brand of equipment: Viking ranges, wall ovens, built-in refrigeration and dishwashers. The same suite, the same service manuals, the same fasteners, every day.
Phoenix is hard on this equipment in a way the manuals do not really account for. A condenser that would live a quiet life elsewhere runs flat out for four months of the year; hard water finds every seal and spray arm; monsoon power cuts take control boards with them. Most of what we see is not exotic, it is that climate arriving on schedule.

03 The bench rules
Four rules that decide how a visit goes.

Diagnose, then quote
A reading off the machine comes before a number, and the number comes before a tool. If we cannot say what the fault is, we say that instead of guessing at your expense.

One price, both directions
The quote covers parts and labour and does not move once you have approved it. If the job turns out easier than expected, the figure comes down.

Repair before replace
A cabinet that is sound is worth keeping. When it is not — when a sealed system on an old unit costs more than it is worth — you will hear that too, and we will not sell you the repair.

Gas gets treated as gas
Manifold pressure, orifice sizing and burner geometry are measured, not eyeballed. This is the part of the work where being approximately right is not good enough.
